Санкт-Петербург, Храм Спаса на Крови.
St.Petersburg, Church of the Savior on Blood.
It has "blood" in its name because the church was built on the site where Tsar Alexander II was assassinated and it was dedicated to his memory.
It never functioned as a public place of worship, from very beginning it was meant to be a museum. The Church is now one of the main tourist attractions in St. Petersburg.
